Announced just a few days ago, the LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled at the Mobile World Conference 2013 earlier this morning.
The device, which is being touted as a direct competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2, is an absolute beast of a phone.
Underneath the 5.5-inch 1080p screen (400PPI) sits the newest Snapdragon 600 CPU. The rear-facing camera is 13MP, which is capable of recording simultaneously with the 2.1MP front-facing camera – perfect for capturing reaction videos.
Like its Samsung rival, it has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and will come with the latest flavour of Android JB 4.1.
The ‘Phablet’ will also feature LG’s brainchild, Q slide, which will enable users to fade any video or app in/out, making multitasking far more user-friendly than ever before.
South Korea will be the first to see the Optimus G Pro in shops, followed by the US and EU in the 2nd quarter of 2013.
