New Gadgets 2012
I wasn’t able to make CES earlier this year, but I’ve kept a keen eye on all of the best action with much enjoyment, and now I’m happy to share with you my favourite new gadgets for 2012…
LG 3D OLED HDTV

The new 3D OLED HDTV from LG is one of the most impressive TVs the world has ever seen. The super thin 55-inch screen which has zero motion blur is a mere 4mm thick with an incredibly thin frame at just 1mm, giving the impression of a true edge-to-edge picture, yet the specifications are better than anything we’ve ever seen. It will go on sale later this year, this price is yet to be confirmed.
New Parrot AR Drone 2.0

The AR Drone 2.0 from Parrot is one of my favourite new gadgets for 2012. There’s much to like about the updated drone, such as 720p HD video that can be viewed on-the-fly from your smartphone, a 1GHz ARM CPU, 1Gbit DDR2 RAM, WiFi (b,g and n), and a brushless 29,000 RPM motor. It is currently available for pre-order at $349.99. Update: Now on sale at Amazon.com.
Acer Iconia Tab A700

Acer have really pulled out all the stops with the Iconia Tab A700. The incredibly powerful 10-inch tablet which is due to be released in June this year will feature a 1.3GHz quad core processor, a full HD screen, a 5 Mega-pixel camera with full HD capture, WiFi, HDMI, USB, a MicroSD slot and GPS. It is expected to be running Google’s Ice-Cream Sandwich version of Android. This is another on of my favourite new gadgets for 2012 and it looks like my iPad will be taking a back seat. 84″ LG UDTV With Voice And Gesture Control

LG are pushing the television market to another level with yet another innovative TV. The massive 84-inch UDTV which supports voice and gesture control will have a phenomenal resolution of 3840×2160, which is twice that of the full HD TVs currently in shops.
Project Fiona Gaming Table

I’m unbelievably excited about this gaming tablet from Razer, it’s made by gamers for gamers. The specifications are just completely mind-boggling. The CPU is an Intel Ivy Bridge i7, and it can run Assassin’s Creed Revelations without even breaking a sweat.
